Name: Danyang- Kunshan Grand Bridge

Location: on the rail line between Shanghai and Nanjingi n East China’s Jiangsu province

Total length: 164.8 Km

Construction began : 2006

Construction ended: 2010

Opened: June 30, 2011

Coordinates: 31°35′52″N 120°27′25″E / 31.597837°N 120.456848°E

The bridge runs roughly parallel to the Yangtze River, about 5 to 50 miles to its south.

Construction cost: $8.5 billion

Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge currently holds the Guinness World Record for the longest bridge in the world in any category as of June 2011.
